Board of Directors

Victor Dellovo , ,

Victor Dellovo has been a Director of CSPi since August 2012 and President and Chief Executive Officer since August 2012; President of Modcomp’s worldwide operations since October 2010; President of Modcomp’s U.S. operations from October 2005 to September 2010; President of Modcomp’s Systems and Solutions division from June 2003 to September 2005, following Modcomp’s acquisition of Technisource Hardware Inc., a company he co-founded in 1997.

Mr. Dellovo is an industry veteran with more than 17 years of technology industry experience and leadership, as well as comprehensive knowledge of the Company and its operations. Mr. Dellovo led our Modcomp Inc. subsidiary for five years. He was responsible for managing all facets of Modcomp Inc.’s domestic and international business, a role that provided him with insight into our operations and the challenges and opportunities faced by the Company. In addition, his prior positions with Technisource Hardware Inc. as an executive, a co-founder and in various sales and engineering positions have given him a strong knowledge and understanding of the technology industry.

Charles Blackmon , ,

Charles Blackmon has been a Director of CSPi since July 2013. From 2005 to the present, he served as Senior Vice President for Timberland Harvesters, LLC, a company that buys and sells timber and land. From June 2004 to March 2005 he served as Chief Financial Officer of Interline Brands Inc., a public company that acts as a direct marketer and distributor of maintenance, repair and operating products including, plumbing, electrical, hardware, HVAC and other related items. From 1994 to 2004, he served in various senior management positions, including Chief Financial Officer, for MAGNATRAX Corporation or its predecessor American Buildings Company, a public company specializing in manufacturing products for the construction industry; 1971-1979, in public accounting except for one year; Director of Concurrent Computer Corporation.

Mr. Blackmon has over 40 years of financial management experience and is a certified public accountant. He is the Chairman of CSPi’s Audit Committee.

Izzy Azeri , ,

Izzy Azeri has been a Director of CSPi since January 2016. President and Co-founder of mabl, a startup software company that uses machine intelligence to automate routine engineering tasks, from January 2017 to the present. From May 2014 to January 2017, he served as Senior Product Manager – Cloud, for Google. From July 2012 to May 2014, he was Founder, President and Board Chairman of Stackdriver, a cloud-based infrastructure monitoring company, which was acquired by Google. From March 2012 to July 2012, he was Executive in Residence at Bain Capital Ventures. From July 2009 to January 2012, he held various positions from General Manager to Vice President at Acronis, a leader in disaster recovery software for the SMB segment. He was Director Corporate Business Development at VMware Inc., a software company, from May 2006 to July 2009; served on the Board of VMware International from 2006 to 2009; has been a Board advisor for VMTurbo from 2009 to the present; and held various positions in corporate development at EMC Corp., a computer storage company, from May 1996 to May 2006. Mr. Azeri currently is a Board advisor at Threatstack.

Mr. Azeri has 15 years of experience overseeing operations, strategic partnerships and investments for some of the leading technology organizations in the world. He has extensive experience in software, cloud and technology products and services, with significant business development and strategic planning experience.

C. Shelton James , ,

C. Shelton James has been a Director of CSPi since 1994 and Chairman of the Board of Directors since August 2012. He is the Principal of C. Shelton James Associates, a business consulting firm, from 1990 to present; President from 1993 until June 1998 and Director from 1993 until February 2000 of Fundamental Management Corporation; Director from December 1994 until March 2000 and Chief Executive Officer from August 1998 to March 1999 of Cyberguard Corp.; Director from August 1998 to July 2002 and Chief Executive Officer from December 2001 to July 2002 of Technisource, Inc.; Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Elcotel from May 1991 to February 2000; Director of Concurrent Computer Corporation. Mr. James is a member of the Company’s Audit Committee. Mr. James was a CPA and worked in public accounting. He was Chief Financial Officer of Systems Engineering Laboratories for over eleven years.

Mr. James’s experience overseeing financial reporting processes, internal accounting and financial controls, as well as managing independent auditor engagements, qualifies him as an “audit committee financial expert” within the meaning of SEC regulations. Mr. James has served on ten boards of public companies and nine audit committees during his career.

Marilyn T. Smith , ,

Director of CSPi since July 2013; Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for George Mason University, December 2013 to present; Head of Information Services and Technology CIO, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), 2009 to 2013; President of Life Insurance Co. of the Hanover Insurance Group, and various other management positions from 2000 to 2009; Vice President and CIO for multiple information systems groups within Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. and various positions at John Hancock Financial Services.

Ms. Smith has served in various executive roles for numerous insurance companies and CIO for MIT. Ms. Smith’s operational executive management experience, knowledge and experience at a premier technology educational center brings a unique understanding of the technology markets to the Board and qualifies her for service as a director of our Company.

Acting General Manager, CSPi Technology Solutions, North America

Victor Dellovo has been President and Chief Executive Officer as well as a Director of CSPi since 2012. He is also Acting General Manager of CSPi Technology Solutions North America division (formerly named Modcomp Systems & Solutions). Prior to this, he was President of Modcomp’s worldwide operations from 2010 to 2012. He was President of Modcomp’s U.S. operations from 2005 to 2010. Victor was President of Modcomp’s U.S. division, following Modcomp’s acquisition of TechniSource Hardware, Inc., a company he co-founded in 1997.

Victor is an IT industry veteran with more than 23 years of experience and leadership. He is responsible for all facets of the organizations domestic and international operations. He has a degree from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in electrical engineering.

Gary Levine , , , Chief Financial Officer, CSPi

Gary Levine joined the Company in May, 1983 as Corporate Controller and was later promoted to Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer. He continues as Chief Financial Officer, and in February of 1998 was also appointed Secretary of the Corporation. Prior to CSP Inc., Gary was Controller and Chief Financial Officer of CPU Computer Corporation, a publically held computer retailer and distributor, where he played a key role in the company’s IPO. Previously, he was Executive Vice President of The Image Maker Inc., a commercial photo processing company. Gary was also an auditor for the CPA firm of Peat Marwick, Mitchell & Co. (currently KPMG, LLP).

Gary is a licensed certified public accountant in Massachusetts and a graduate of Bentley University.

Mike Newbanks , , , Vice President of Finance & Chief Accounting Officer, CSPi

Having a strong financial foundation is the key to any thriving organization. As the Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer (CAO), Mike's management of day-to-day operations are an integral part of the success and profitability of CSPi. His responsibilities include leading the controllership organization with a focus on fiscal reporting and controls, and accounting. Prior to his appointment as VP of Finance and CAO, Newbanks served as the controller for the US division of Technology Solutions. Prior to that, he served in various accounting roles at MODCOMP, Inc., Technisource, ANC Rental Corporation, Alamo Rental Car, and Eastern Airlines.

Gary Southwell , , , Vice President & General Manager, CSPi High Performance Products

Strong management and engineering skills are key to the new direction in our HPP operation. As the Vice President and General Manager of High Performance Products segment (HPP,) Gary manages the entire HPP operation. Prior joining CSPi he served as Vice President and Co-founder of Seceon Networks, a startup cybersecurity startup company offering an open threat management platform of products; Vice President of Product Development of Audinate, a multi-channel digital networking technology company, Chief Technology Officer for, a leading provider of cloud and metro network infrastructure solutions.

Kevin Magee , , , Managing Director, CSPi Technology Solutions, United Kingdom

Kevin Magee is the Managing Director of CSPi Technology Solutions, a division of CSPi, the UK subsidiary of CSPi Inc. Kevin has been with CSPi for over 10 years. Prior to joining CSPi he was the sales manager at the UK subsidiary of one of the world's largest privately held software companies. He has worked in the IT industry for over 25 years, starting with a major telecommunications company and then in a sales role with a global systems integrator.

Kevin has a degree in Engineering and a Master's degree in Engineering Design, as well as a Diploma in Marketing. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Mechanical Engineers and the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
